Setting It Up

  1. Pick the spot

    Set it on a level, solid counter beside the sink, where the drain hose can reach the basin and you have room above the machine to pour water into the fill opening at the top back.

  2. Add salt if your water is hard

    Fill the water softener with dishwasher salt as the manual describes. In a soft water area you can skip this step.

  3. Fill the tank or connect a faucet

    Pour 1.3 gallons of water into the built-in tank, or connect the 60 inch inlet hose to a faucet if you would rather not fill it by hand.

  4. Load and add detergent

    Load the metal basket with dirty surfaces facing the spray, then add dishwasher detergent. A single tablet is enough for a full load.

  5. Choose a program and start

    Pick a program on the LED panel, set a delay of 1 to 18 hours if you want it to run later, and start it. Drying follows automatically unless you switch it off.
