Unclip the buckle, check the removable plate is seated in the base, and set the lid aside.
Place it on its mat, or on a damp towel, and keep a hand on it while you twist.
Put warm, cooked chicken in the bowl, fit the spiked lid and twist back and forth until it is shredded.
Pull the plate out by its lifting holes, tip out the chicken, and repeat with the next batch.
Rinse straight away and wash by hand or in the dishwasher, hang it by the side holes to dry, then clip it together with the buckle.
