Draw-With-Light Cloud Panel
The front of the pillowcase carries a large cloud-shaped glow panel. Shine the included pen on it and the panel lights up along the line you draw, then slowly fades; Illuminated Apparel says designs last up to five minutes before disappearing. That makes it more of an activity than a night light. Children draw pictures, write their names and messages, and play simple games like noughts and crosses, and parents write notes for them to find at lights-out. It is genuinely entertaining, and appearance draws strong praise: the cloud design looks good on a bed during the day as well. One parent always chooses the Dream Cloud because it seems to have the most drawing area, which matters when two children want to play on it at once. Brightness is mixed. The glow is soft rather than dazzling, which suits a bedroom at night, but in a room that is not fully dark, or after a few minutes, drawings can be faint. Draw in a dark room and use short, deliberate strokes for the clearest lines.
