Every major theme is positive. The case feels well made, holds a lot of cards in a compact size, keeps them organised and easy to find, and stays dry in wet bags. The latch opens easily yet stays firmly shut. The only recurring niggle is the tightness of the microSD slots, which can make small cards fiddly to remove without fingernails, although the same snug fit is what keeps them from moving.

1. Plan your layout

   Decide an order for your cards, such as by camera or by capacity, so an empty slot tells you exactly which card is out.

2. Seat SD cards

   Slide each SD card straight down into its foam slot with the label facing up.

3. Press microSD cards in gently

   Push each microSD card straight into its slot with a fingertip rather than at an angle, so the snug foam does not stress it.

4. Check the seal

   Make sure the silicone ring is clean and the lid sits flat before closing.

5. Close the latch

   Snap the latch shut until it locks firmly, and give the case a gentle shake to confirm nothing moves.
