How do I keep it clean without ruining it?
Keep it away from water. A sleep headband sits against your forehead, hair and ears for hours every night, so it picks up sweat and skin oil, but it isn't water resistant, and the battery, Bluetooth electronics and speakers are built into the band. Don't machine-wash or submerge it. Clean the fabric gently by hand, keep moisture away from the control panel and its charging port, and let it air out and dry fully before you wear or charge it again. Check the user manual for anything more.
The audio sounds thin and quiet. Is it faulty?
Probably not. How it sounds depends on the speakers sitting squarely over your ears, and fit varies from head to head, so shift the band until the sound is centered before judging it. A new band can also feel very tight, and stretching it first helps it sit properly. Even when it fits well, the sound is fine rather than rich, and it suits podcasts, audiobooks and sleep music better than critical listening.
Will it block out my partner's snoring?
Not on its own. The fabric slightly muffles higher-pitched sound, as a hat or pillow would, but low frequencies, including most snoring and traffic rumble, pass through fabric almost untouched. What actually helps is masking: rain, white noise or quiet music gives your attention something else to focus on, so the snoring stands out less. If you need the sound properly silenced, foam earplugs will do better.
Is it safe for a child to wear overnight?
MUSICOZY says it is suitable for adults, teens and kids, but an elastic band worn around the head all night calls for adult judgement and supervision rather than being handed to a young child alone. Whatever the age, keep the volume low, because a night of audio at a level that feels comfortable while awake adds up to a lot of exposure.
How often should I charge it if I don't use it every night?
Every few weeks, even when it is sitting unused. A band left completely flat in a drawer for months may not take a charge afterwards, which is normal for a small rechargeable battery rather than a fault. A quick top-up now and then prevents it.
Can I use it for running instead of sleeping?
MUSICOZY sells it for workouts, running and yoga as well as sleep, and says the band keeps hair and sweat under control, with nothing in your ears to fall out. It isn't water resistant, though, so after a sweaty session let it air out and dry fully rather than washing it, and keep sweat away from the control panel and charging port.
