Wash the nonstick pot, Cook & Crisp Plate and broil rack before first use. Wipe the lids; do not immerse them.
Place the base on a heat-safe counter with enough room above and behind it for the attached crisping lid to open fully.
Add food and liquid to the pot, fit the pressure lid and choose Pressure Cook, setting the time on the control panel.
Release the pressure, remove the pressure lid, close the crisping lid and choose Air Crisp, Broil or Bake/Roast to brown the food.

The Ninja Foodi OS301 is one of the few multi-cookers that does its two headline jobs properly. Pressure cooking is fast and reliable, the air crisp lid browns and crisps convincingly, and TenderCrisp dishes that move from one to the other in the same pot are the reason to buy it. The design compromises are real: a permanently attached lid, a tall and heavy body, a nonstick pot that needs protecting from the metal rack, and a few spots, such as the grease guard and engraved markings, that are awkward to clean. None of them stop owners from using it almost daily.
A capable, genuinely versatile pressure cooker and air fryer. Make sure you have the counter height for the attached lid, and look after the nonstick pot.
