Unpack the base, bowl, lid, pusher and attachments. Wash everything except the motor base in warm soapy water and dry it.
Stand the base on a clean, dry, flat worktop and press it down so the silicone feet grip. The power cord is 3.28 feet long, so place it close to a socket.
Fit the bowl on the base and turn it until it locks. If it isn't fully locked, the processor won't start.
Slide the blade or disc you need onto the drive shaft, handling the sharp edges carefully.
Add your ingredients without going over 12 cups dry or 9 cups liquid, then fit the lid until it clicks into place.
Start the processor with the control knob and keep each run short, checking the texture as you go.
