Connect the included USB-A to USB-C cable to the opener and a USB power adapter. The shell glows blue while charging. There is no clear full signal, so an overnight charge before first use is the simplest option.
Lift off the lid, which converts into a foil cutter. Place it over the top of the bottle, squeeze and twist to cut the foil, then peel it away.
Set the opener straight down over the neck of the bottle so the spiral sits in the centre of the cork. Hold the bottle firmly with your other hand.
Press the down button. The spiral drives into the cork and draws it out, which takes several seconds. Watch the cork rise through the clear shell.
Lift the opener off the bottle and press the up button to reverse the spiral and release the cork.
Put the foil-cutter lid back on and stand the opener upright on the counter, or store it in a drawer.
