The scent itself pleases most people, but a sizable minority find it cheap-smelling or different from what they remember; how strong it smells splits almost evenly; and the sprayer works well for some and poorly for others. 2. Mist hair lightly from a distance

   Hold the bottle back and mist over hair, where Pacifica says the scent lingers longest; a heavy spray can leave hair sticky.

3. Spray skin and clothing

   Mist wrists, neck or clothing; fabric holds the scent longer than bare skin.

4. Layer for longer wear

   Apply over an unscented lotion or under another fragrance, as Pacifica suggests, to extend the scent.

5. Refresh as needed

   On skin it often fades well before the rated 8 hours, so keep it handy for a top-up.
