Double-Sided HEPA Filtration with Washable Pre-Filter
The P358 pulls air in through U-shaped inlets on both sides of the unit before passing it through an H13 HEPA filter rated to retain particles as small as 0.3 micron, with a washable electrostatic pre-filter sitting in front to catch hair and dander first. HEPA-grade filtration matters for pet owners because dander and fine dust are small enough to stay airborne and trigger allergy symptoms rather than settling quickly, so a filter rated at this particle size is doing more than a basic mesh screen. The pre-filter can show hair collected the morning after first running the unit, even in a home with two large dogs, and it can catch stray fur that sweeping missed, even with six long-haired cats. The manufacturer's own copy says hair collection may become noticeably more effective after 30 days. Even on the highest setting it may not pull in as much hair as expected, and some households may still need a robovac running twice a day alongside it.
