Retro Vintage Big Bread Bin

Absolutely love this. Needed a place to hide the bread and bagels from our carb-addicted cat.It’s much bigger than expected. The lid is raised so you can fit a full bag of bagels, a new loaf of bread and there is still room for a small bag of donuts. Love the retro look and the color is a bright red.

My lovely red bread-box arrived in perfect condition looking just as it does in the photographs. It is large enough for a loaf and a half of bread and a few muffins and bagels. My sister has the same in turquoise, so I knew before I ordered it that the box would be a little bit “tinny”. I’m sure that it would dent, if I were to drop it. I don’t care. I will have to be careful. I love it’s look. I grew up with a sturdy (probably aluminium) bread box, which was much larger and had an inner shelf. It opened from the front, which, when lowered, was a bread cutting-board. This Juvale box is not of that quality, but it’s way better looking and undoubtedly less expensive than whatever my mother’s would cost today, if it were still available.

We originally purchased a Brabantia roll top stainless steel bread box.. what a mistake. The bread box came dented and looked so tacky. This bread box came very well packaged and the quality is amazing. We love the way it looks in our kitchen. Exactly the look I wanted originally. So glad I found the product!

I really like this product. The style fits right in with the rest of the things on my kitchen counter, and there’s even more space inside than I was expecting. You can store a LOT of bread in there. The only issue that I had was that—maybe because the sheet metal is so thin, or maybe mine is just slightly off-level—it has some give and made a loud buckling sound whenever I moved or even touched it. Not a big deal though, as I stuck some silicone feet on the bottom and that took care of it. I only mention this because that’s something that the seller/manufacturer might want to consider adding to the design in the future. Recommended.

So i got this for a really weird reason. My job gives me my tips in coin rolls, and my current storage dodnt hold enough space to store them.So i thought “hey lets get a cute bread box for my tips!”Sooo its waaay bigger then i thought. So i took photos for you guys to see how big it really is.This is a standard xbox controller.But its still what i needed.

This bread box has great capacity. It’s a little bigger than expected but that’s not a bad thing. It holds ALL our bread products. I like the flat top too so I can put something on top if needed. It has a sleek look that fits great in our new kitchen. Now the bad – I certainly question the durability over time. It seems well made, but I already know that it will be prone to dents. I accidently ordered two and glad I did because one was already dented. I will say the box that bread box was in was also dented (amazon box was not) so it may be more of a storage/handling issue causing this and not shipping. Either way, I am very happy with my purchase (and amazons great return policy 😊) and don’t foresee any issues with the product. It’s sleek, smooth and looks great in our kitchen.
