Defrosting trays are so heavily favored and have become the most widespread thawing method in the kitchen. I recently got one from Maytra Inspirations and I must say that it is a great tray that offers decent size and good defrosting performance, a lot quicker from the other products that I have tried. Sleek design, high quality & value for money! The seller was very prompt in answering all my questions and the item reached me in two days. The packaging is also appealing and that makes it an excellent gift for Christmas, I am certainly purchasing Thawmax for my friends and family. This defrosting tray ticks all boxes and I am delighted!

Don’t expect the advertised times unless whatever you’re thawing is quite thin and perfectly flat…..but it does cut down thaw time by quite a bit. Very handy. I’ve used it more than a dozen times. Dishwasher safe (yay!), and seems pretty sturdy. I like it.

i put two small lamb chops on the plate. 1/2 hour later they were hard as a rock. they hadn’t even started to thaw. i did exactly what the instructions said ” unwrap the meet place it on the plat as flat as possible. the lamb chops were flat so that was easy. after 1/2 hour with no success i put them back in a plastic bag and put them in a pan of hot water. 10 minutes later the were completely defrosted. maybe i should have put the defroster plat in the oven for about a half an hour then put the lamb chops on it. of coerce i could just put the lamb chops in the ovenfor 1/2 hour and thaw them out without the defroster plat.
