Wash the carafe, filter basket and reusable filter in warm soapy water and rinse.
Fill the reservoir with water only and run a full brew to flush the system before your first pot.
Press Program and use the Hour/Minute buttons to set the 24-hour clock.
Fill the reservoir to the level marking for the number of cups you want, up to 12.
Put the reusable filter in the basket and add ground coffee to taste.
