Yeedi's M12 PRO+ is a robot vacuum and mop with a compact station that empties its dustbin and washes and dries its mop pads. On paper it covers everything: strong suction, an anti-tangle roller, rotating mops that lift over carpet and 3D obstacle detection. Ultrasonic sensing spots carpet and lifts the mop plates, but the lift is limited: thick pile and fluffy rugs can still be dragged and bunched, and the practical answer is to take the pads off, which simply pop off, for vacuum-only runs or to keep the robot off those rugs when mopping. Two faults have come up. It does four jobs: it empties the robot's dustbin into a bag, washes the mop pads, dries them, and refills the robot's water tank. Self-emptying is the feature that makes a robot genuinely hands-off, and one owner who had lived without it calls it a must-have. The station is not maintenance-free, though. The wash tray needs taking out and brushing regularly, the dirty water tank can start to smell if it is left full, and mop pads look dingy over time and need swapping and washing. Expect a routine of rinsing the tanks after mopping, cleaning the tray every week or two and replacing brushes and filters on a regular cycle. Owners who build that routine in tend to be happy; those who expect to set it and forget it are the ones most often disappointed.

Setting It Up

  1. Place the station

    Stand the Mini OMNI station against a wall on a hard floor with clear space in front, near a power outlet and within range of a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The robot will not connect on 5GHz.

  2. Fill the water tanks

    Fill the clean water tank and add cleaning solution if you use one, sticking to the recommended ratio, since too much solution can cause trouble in the wash tray.

  3. Clear the floor and map

    Pick up cords, shoes, toys and anything a pet has left, then run the first mapping pass from the Yeedi app so the robot can build a clean map.

  4. Check the rooms

    Review how the app has split your home into rooms, rename them, and adjust any boundaries you can before scheduling cleans.

  5. Set schedules and settings

    Choose suction level, water flow and number of passes per room, and set schedules. For thick rugs, remove the mop pads for vacuum-only runs.

Common Questions

Does the Yeedi M12 PRO+ handle pet hair?

It copes well in many pet homes, but long hair from heavy shedders can wrap the roller. Washing and rotating the filter every week keeps the airflow up, which keeps the hair moving into the bin.

Can it mop and vacuum rugs in the same run?

It lifts its mop plates when it detects carpet, but the lift is small. Thick or fluffy rugs can be dragged, so remove the pads for vacuum-only runs on those.

Does it empty itself?

Yes, the Mini OMNI station empties the dustbin into a bag. It also washes and dries the mop pads and refills the robot's water tank.

Does it work with 5GHz Wi-Fi?
