Put the base against a wall near an outlet, with as much open floor in front of it as you can manage, so the robot can find it.
Attach the side brushes to the underside before the first run.
Set the robot on the base and let it charge fully before its first clean.
Install the ROPVACNIC app and connect over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Link Alexa or Google Assistant if you want voice control.
Pick up cords, socks and small objects, and block off spots where it could wedge itself, such as low gaps under appliances.
Start an auto clean from the button, remote or app, then set a schedule. Running it daily helps make up for the random pattern.

The ROPVACNIC A1 does the basic job well. Its suction and tangle-free intake handle pet hair and everyday dust on hard floors and low rugs, the dust box is easy to empty, and the remote and app make it easy to run. What it lacks is intelligence: it doesn't map or remember where it has been, so large or open homes get uneven coverage. It can also wedge itself under furniture and occasionally die before finding the dock. Run times come in below the rating, and reliability is where its feedback is weakest.
Buy it as a daily hair-and-dust robot for smaller spaces and accept that it cleans by persistence rather than planning. If you need one run to cover a large open floor, or you want it to remember your layout, look at a model with mapping.
