I’ve never owned SMEG, but I think this purchase will change that.Great build and nice design. Love the 4 cup brew option and the fact it doesn’t burn any coffee by turning off the heating plate within 20 minutes.

The lid only opens to a 90 degree angle so it’s nearly impossible to pour all of the water in from the pot. We have to pour what we can in the top and then dump the rest of the water in the sink because the lid won’t open far enough for easy pouring. That kinda sucks. The machine looks cool but the design for pouring water in is pretty sad.
