Think of them as noise isolating. TOZO lists noise isolation among the features, and the quiet comes from the snug seal of the silicone tips rather than electronic cancelling. The noise blocking is still very good: meetings and flights fade into the background once the right tip size is fitted.
How long does the battery actually last?
TOZO rates 15 hours on a single charge, with total playtime reaching 55 hours when combined with the wireless charging case. Real-world runs can be much shorter than the headline, anywhere from around four hours of continuous use to a full workday, depending on volume and use. Make sure each bud seats on the case contacts when you put them away, since a bud that doesn't seat properly can stay connected and drain, or not charge at all.
Will these fit my ears well? I have small/large ears.
Fit varies, but the four pairs of ear tips in the box help a lot, and swapping sizes makes a secure fit easier to find; the same pair can suit large and small ears just by changing the tips. If none of the sizes seal well, return them within the return window.
Can they survive sweat during workouts or getting caught in rain?
Yes. TOZO applies an IPX8-rated nano-coating to the internal components to protect against sweat and rain, and they cope well with sweat and splashes. TOZO also pitches them for swimming, but Bluetooth doesn't carry well through water, and wet tips can loosen and make the sound oddly muffled, so they suit the gym and the rain better than the pool.
Is the app EQ feature actually useful, or gimmicky?
It's useful. The free TOZO app offers 32 EQ presets, lets you adjust specific frequencies and change what the touch controls do, and adds more than 100 white noise tracks. The default tuning leans towards bass, so the EQ is the easy fix if you prefer a flatter sound.
How well do they hold up over time?
Better than the price suggests. The T10 has a track record of years of daily use at work and the gym while still holding a full charge, cases that survive drops onto concrete, and even buds that come through an accidental wash and dry. Faults do happen: one earbud can fade in volume after a few months, and TOZO's customer support replaces faulty pairs promptly under warranty.
