Remove all packaging and wash the tray, lid and measuring cup; wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth.
Use the pin in the measuring cup to make a small hole in the broad end of each egg, pressing gently so the shell does not crack.
Fill the measuring cup to the line for soft, medium or hard-boiled eggs and pour it onto the heating plate.
Place up to seven eggs in the tray, set it on the base and fit the lid.
Plug the cooker in and press the on/off button. Leave the lid on while it cooks.
When it switches off with a click, lift the lid carefully away from you to avoid the steam, then move the eggs to cold water.
