   Unpack the globe and base and look for the power cord, contacting the seller straight away if it is missing.

2. Choose a spot near an outlet

   Set the globe on its metal base on a flat, stable surface within easy reach of an outlet.

3. Connect the power

   Plug the cord into the socket on the globe and into the wall outlet.

4. Route the cord safely

   Run the cord along the back of the shelf or nightstand so it cannot be caught and pull the globe over.

5. Light it up

   With the power connected, the warm LED lights the globe; turn it so the regions you like face the room.
