Unpack the dryer and confirm the concentrator nozzle, diffuser and comb attachment are all present. Make sure the removable end cap is seated and nothing blocks the air intake.
Fit the nozzle for smoothing and targeted styling, the diffuser for curls and waves, or the comb for straightening and detangling thick hair as it dries. Push attachments on firmly so they do not work loose.
Squeeze out excess water with a towel rather than rubbing, which roughs up the cuticle and adds frizz. Damp hair dries faster and needs less time under heat.
Start on a lower heat setting and raise it only if needed. Use high speed for rough-drying and low speed with the diffuser so curls are not blown out of shape.
