Hand-wash the ceramic pot and check that the silicone gasket is seated correctly in the lid.
For meat or aromatics, use Brown or Sauté with the lid off, then add liquid and scrape up anything stuck to the bottom.
Close and lock the lid, set the regulator knob to Pressure, pick a program, and adjust time or pressure level if needed.
When the cycle ends, let pressure drop naturally or turn the knob to Steam for a quick release, keeping hands and face away from the valve. The lid unlocks once pressure is gone.
