I collect Monopoly and Opoly games in general. This one sounded good but after ordering it and reading the directions in the box it isn’t high on my favorites list. It promotes picking on other players, and signaling out of players. One of the cards says “The bank pays all but one player $10” making the player pick one player to not recieve the money. It has rules where players take properties from eachother and so on. I could see this quickly going down hill and causing a fun game to cause hurt feelings and angry words. I’ll probably not even keep it. I own 63 Monopoly and Opoly type games and I don’t see this one as being a good fit for game night. Maybe for college dorms or something.

Very different. I enjoy all the different monopoly’s & we collect them. It took a bit to catch on because the rules are very random and different. We had to stop & pause a couple of times to go back and re-read the rules. I wouldn’t say it was my favorite. As far as everything else…quick shipping and very well made.

I gave this as a gift to my friend for Christmas. Previously we had played Monopoly (classic edition) and she got mad and crumpled the money when having to pay rent to another player. I was infuriated because I keep all my board games in immaculate condition. Well I thought it would be great to get her a Monopoly of her own so she wouldn’t destroy mine in future gameplay. I was looking at the classic version and this was a recommendation. What better gift for somebody that can’t take losing? lol She liked it and we all played a round that game. The special “MrMonopoly” feature is great and adds a special twist. A must-have for any Monopoly lovers! (…or haters) 😉

Purchased as a white elephant gift, after listening to everyone complain about not liking to “play games” like the WE Game. I thought it was hilarious!

we are monopoly fanatics and we love this version of the game. Building houses is something you may really want to think about before you just buy a whole bunch. When someone else is the monopoly man and they land on your property with a hotel…you have to pay them instead of them paying you. We did refer to the rules a few times but it was lot of fun when we got the hang of it.
