This product is really cute. Quality seems good. Materials are nice. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the pieces to make the x’s didn’t go together well. I had to use a rubber hammer to connect them and they still aren’t 100% connected and then the hammer damaged the back side of the x. No one sees that so it isn’t a big deal but you can see that they aren’t all the way connected when you look at them. I guess for the price I can’t complain but that is super disappointing.

Easy to assemble, lightweight enough to hang on wall but not too light. I painted the “X’s” as the red did not match my decor. You have to be careful adding the hanging hardware or you can split the wood. One of the X shapes was incredibly tight and I had to use a hammer to get it together. Overall I’m happy with it and it was as I expected it to be.

This product was not good! The wood it was made out of was split in many places and it looks like crap once assembled. It’s also very heavy.

It really is such a cool piece. I was worried reading other reviews that it was going to be difficult to put together. It was actually VERY easy to put together and hang….it’s just, ours came with some boards split, splinters (got one stuck in my finger!), and had pieces that looked like they were slightly broken off. Like missing chunks out of some of the boards. It’s really such a great idea and so perfect (as long as you’re not inspecting it close up)….I just hate that the quality was so poor. Especially for as much money as it cost, 60 dollars isn’t a lot to some….but for me that was a big purchase that I thought long and hard about. I guess it’s still mostly worth it, I probably wouldn’t pay more than 30 for the condition that mine came in though.

I bought this to go in our half bath and I’ve gotten so many compliments and questions of where I got it. It was easy to put together and the instructions were clear, but I will say that it is a pain in the butt to hang properly. My biggest issue is that the hanging hardware is not pre-installed and the “wood” is so soft that it makes it nearly impossible to drill the screws in in exactly the same place on both sides of the grid. That means measuring and hanging and getting it perfectly level is definitely an exercise in frustration. It would be so much easier if at least the hardware came pre-installed. All said and done though it looks really cute and holds jumbo/double size rolls of TP just fine! I hope this review was helpful! Let me know if you have any questions. And yes, paid full price for this.
