This is a very cute little fridge. I bought it to store various skin care oils and products that require refrigeration for my bathroom. The problem is that it doesn’t get very cold, which, I’m pretty sure, is the point of a refrigerator. Also, the instructions tell you to unplug this for an hour once every two days. This is inconvenient and an annoying thing to have to keep track of. I sent mine back. If they ever redesign this so that it gets cold enough and without the need to unplug it, I’d buy it again.

Decent little mini fridge. It can hold 6 cans, but they’re very snug. I drink Gatorade at work, and can barely fit 1 @ 32oz bottle in it. The bottle literally scrapes the top of the fridge when placing it inside. For me, it serves it’s purpose. We’re not supposed to have a fridge at work, so I hide this on a shelf behind some binders, but made sure that I expose the vents to let it breathe. I have not tried the heating part of it, but it does keep my daily Gatorade cool.*Update. Fridge is dead after ~18-19 months. I don’t think this actually refrigerates, but it uses the fans to cool things ~30º below room temperature… so if the office is 80º in winter, it may cool things down to ~50º.

***SAFETY ALERT*** FIRE HAZARD APPLIANCE*** I purchased this item a few months ago and placed it in my bathroom to store my insulin pens. About a month ago the fan on the back of the unit began making noise. I picked up the unit to look at the back. The grill had some dust on it so I blew on it and cleared it. As I set the unit down, the fan somehow quieted down but I could still hear it. I grew accustomed to the low hum of the fan until yesterday when I was leaving my apartment, and entered my bathroom before leaving. I didn’t hear the fan so I checked the unit. The green light on the back was on and the switch was still set to COLD. But the fan was off. The unit was very hot as was the AC plug. I immediately disconnected the unit and checked the pens inside which I found hot to the touch. IN addition, my LG watch that was charging same outlet was super hot. Clearly the cooling unit was not being cooled by the stopped fan, and the motor was overheating. I am convinced that this unit may have caught fire had I not noticed the stopped fan. I immediately disconnected it and am throwing it out. This item should be recalled due to the bad fan. Please monitor if you purchase this item. It should have a power cutoff switch when fan fails. It’s not safe. Now you know.

The Uber Chill mini fridge will hold six cans of soda stacked one on top of each other or four water bottles upright. It is a great little fridge to have handy for your personal drinks or other items that you may want to keep cold or hot. It It also has a heat setting and can help maintain a cup of coffee or to nicely soften a brownie. It would keep warm your burger from the drive thru tho it isn’t going to hold it at a proper temperature over an extended time so I would advise that be for a short term use on that type of food. It takes awhile for the temps to reach cool or heat but stay fairly steady after that with the door kept closed, much like any appliance. It has an AC and DC cord for both use with a wall or 12 volt charger and is perfect for a road trip as it can be in the car or in the hotel room. Each cord is a separate hookup but I have taped the cords together in a couple of spots so that I can easily use the one needed and not try to remember where I put it the last time it was used. I left about six inches free on each end to make hooking up quick and easy. The Uber is very lightweight as the housing is plastic and easy to move around. It has a recessed area on the top where you can pick it up and carry it with one hand. It has a fan on the back side that will need to circulate air for heating/cooling capabilities. I am really impressed with this Uber Chill mini fridge!

I could not live without this thing. It is a nursery essential in a two story house. I formula feed our little one and it works perfectly for storing ready portioned bottles for at night. Even if you’re breast feeding, you need this to keep waters for yourself and snacks. Anything that saves you precious sleeping time is worth it for those first few weeks. Photos added to show the storage capacity. This does make a low dull hum but I think it’s a bit of a bonus for a nursery because my baby likes white noise anyways. The back bottles do get a teeny bit sweaty but everything stays uniformly cool front to back.
