Chute-and-Pusher Safety Design
Food is loaded into an enclosed chute and pressed onto the blade with a pusher and handle, so your hand never touches the blade while slicing.
The Wimaha Mandoline Slicer is a safer slicer with a fixed blade range, best for cooks wary of mandoline blades. The main drawback: thinnest slice is 1.5mm. We scored it 3.8 out of 5.
The Wimaha keeps your hands away from the blade by making you feed food down a chute with a pusher, which is exactly why it is safer than a flat mandoline and also why it is less flexible: thickness comes from swapping blades, and the thinnest is 1.5mm.
NoFussDeal rates the Wimaha Mandoline Slicer 3.8 out of 5 at $24.58. Last updated September 26, 2026.
Food is loaded into an enclosed chute and pressed onto the blade with a pusher and handle, so your hand never touches the blade while slicing.
Three slicing blades (1.5mm, 2.5mm and 3.9mm) and two julienne blades (3x3mm and 3x6mm) swap in and out of the main board.
Wimaha rates it for vegetables, fruit and frozen meat, as long as the meat is boneless and fully frozen.
The frame is food-grade ABS plastic and folds down for storage. It is hand-wash only.

Unfold the stand and place the slicer on a flat, dry counter.
Press the buckle to open the flip cover on the main body and slide the food chute into its slot. It can stay installed from then on.
Choose a slicing or julienne blade, insert it into the main board and close the flip cover.
Set the container under the outlet to catch the slices.
Put food in the chute, then press the handle while pushing down with the pusher. Keep the strokes smooth and steady.
Only for some buyers: we score it 3.8 out of 5. The Wimaha swaps the flat mandoline's speed for safety.
Thinnest slice is 1.5mm, with no adjustable setting for thinner cuts. Food must fit the chute, so large vegetables need cutting down first.
Hand-wash the body, chute and blades after each use.
Freeze boneless meat until solid, trim it to fit the chute and use the 1.5mm blade for hot pot or stir-fry slices.

The Wimaha swaps the flat mandoline's speed for safety. Food goes down a chute and is pushed onto 420 stainless blades, so your hands stay clear, and the three slicing and two julienne blades give repeatable results for everyday vegetables, fruit and frozen boneless meat. It cleans easily and folds away. The limits come from the same design: thickness is fixed by the blade, the thinnest slice is 1.5mm, food has to fit the chute, and it is hand-wash only.
Buy it if safety matters more to you than paper-thin slices. If you want fine adjustable thickness, a traditional mandoline with a good guard is the better tool.
