Plug in the power adapter and connect to your router with the included Ethernet cable, or set it up on Wi-Fi.
Install the SmartThings app, sign in, and add the hub. Owners report this takes minutes.
If devices were on another controller, use the Z-Wave exclusion utility in the hub's menu in the app to release each one first.

Put the hub into Z-Wave exclusion, run the lock's own include/exclude procedure, confirm the exclusion in the app, restart the hub and then pair normally. This sequence came from Aeotec support.
