    Connect the included USB cable to the camera and plug it into the included power adapter at a wall outlet. Choose a spot within reach of an outlet before you start, because the camera runs on mains power rather than a battery.

  3. Add the Camera in the App

    Follow the app's prompts to add a new device and connect it to your home Wi-Fi. Set it up where the camera will actually live, since a strong signal at the final spot matters more than a strong signal next to the router.

  4. Place or Mount It

    Stand it on a shelf with the included stand, or mount it using the included kit. Aim it at the doorway, cot, pet area or room you care about, then check the live view to make sure the framing is right.

  5. Set Up Motion Alerts
