2K Video With Color Night Vision
The 3MP camera records 2K video, switches to color at night when the spotlight is on, and uses infrared to see up to 50 ft in the dark.
The ZOSI C306 Pro Solar Security Camera is a feature-rich solar camera with reliability questions, best for homeowners covering spots without power. Rated 3.7 out of 5 across 76 user ratings. The main drawback: the battery can jam in its housing. We scored it 3.5 out of 5.
The appeal is no wiring and little charging: a solar panel keeps the battery topped up, so you can put 2K coverage on a shed, gate or driveway with no socket nearby. The risk is reliability. Some units stop working within days, and one buyer struggled just to get the battery out of the housing.
NoFussDeal rates the ZOSI C306 Pro Solar Security Camera 3.5 out of 5 at $37.98. Last updated September 26, 2026.

Remove the protective sticker from the battery, refit it and fully charge the camera with a 5V micro USB charger before first use.
Download the ZOSI Smart app for iOS or Android and create an account.
Add the camera in the app and connect it to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network; 5GHz is not supported.
Pick a spot away from trees, busy streets and glass, with the PIR angled more than 10 degrees to the area you're watching, and check the Wi-Fi signal there.
Fix the camera to a wall or ceiling, then mount the solar panel in the sunniest nearby spot the 4 m cable reaches.
Insert a memory card or choose a cloud plan, set the clip length to 10, 20 or 30 seconds, and walk past to test detection.
Only for some buyers: we score it 3.5 out of 5. On paper, the C306 Pro covers everything you'd want from a wire-free outdoor camera: 2K video, color night vision, infrared up to 50 ft, PIR and AI person detection, spotlight, siren, two-way talk and a solar panel so charging is rare.
Rated 3.7 out of 5 across 76 user ratings, with 49% giving it five stars and 16% one star.
Several owners report units failing after a couple of days. The battery can jam in its housing, and the instructions don't explain how to remove it.
Wipe the lens and solar panel clean regularly.
With cloud storage, the camera keeps the moments leading up to a detection so you see the whole event.

In practice, reliability is the problem. Quality opinions are split, some units reportedly stopped working within days, and one buyer had the battery jam on two cameras in a row. If it works, it's a capable camera for places without power; just buy with returns in mind.
A capable wire-free solar camera on paper, let down by reports of early failures and a fiddly battery. Worth it only if you can return it easily; if reliability is your priority, look at a more established camera.
