Truly is a must have for any booze hound, wine connoisseur or tempted tippler.These are extremely easy to use. Being a gal whose loseing her grip in more ways than one, I simply set the bottle on the counter, fit the stopper in the cute lil hat over the bottle opening and push down. Its not rocket science BUT I will say these are far superior than any other stopper out there. Thisnis the only stopper i have found that can successfully cap a sparkling wine/champagne for a week without popping off on its own from the gas buildup or going flat. When you pop that puppy it will be just like opening the bottle the forst time. You even get the happy sounding POP!Not a wine drinker? That okay. This will work on a variety of bottles from your bar including soda, water…whatever!

Sometimes it takes me a couple of days to finish a heady ale, or a week for a bottle of wine. I’ve tried probably a dozen different brands of stoppers, including those with vacuum ports (for red wine – too fussy), those with a expanding centers (sometimes too loose, too many parts, need time to dry when cleaned), cone shaped ones (don’t seal robustly), and simple tapered stoppers.These beat all others hands down – one piece durable silicone in a charming form (at least for snowy climates like ours) that stays on the bottle, keeps the rim clean and protected, and is a cinch to wash. I would like to see the price come down, and maybe another form or two (how about a classic pineapple, for summery or tropical fun?) or some more color options. Still, we bought a second set and generally have a couple in use. They would make a great gift for almost anyone!

I love things that look like other things, and this wine stopper is one of my favorites. I mean, look at it!!!! It’s a little hat!!!!!! It really does bring me so much joy every time I get to use it. Sometimes I’ll even put it on wine bottles that have a screw top just so I have an opportunity to use it. And it works just fine as a wine stopper. It’s not like it could really fail at that, bottle stopper technology has existed for hundreds of years. But still, this improves upon all the rest with its goofy happy goodness.
