Nice can opener! Does what it supposed to do very smoothly. Now that the good parts out the way lol the only thing I had an issue with was there was wear and tear as well as finger prints on the can opener as if it was returned, now Especially with what’s going on in the world today I don’t appreciate that. I just disinfected the can opener and put it to use.

I bought this machine after deeply cutting my finger on a handheld can opener. It had good reviews, but it turned out to be a GREAT can opener! Super easy to assemble (only one step), a cinch to operate, quiet, and the edges are smooth. Why didn’t I buy this years ago??

The main complaint about this opener is the handle that you push down to open a can is loose feeling. When you open the handle up to remove the can it wants to come out of the socket that it fits in. But, it does a really great job opening cans and DOES NOT leave metal shavings as other models do. Great value for the money. Would buy again.

Your description says it will open pull top lids which is why I chose this particular model. The instruction booklet that came with the product says it will not!! Moreover I don’t see anything on the opener that could serve this purpose.

I have used this can opener for a little while and it has been flawless. I threw away my manual can openers that always have troubles! This Pohl + Schmitt is a great brand with great quality! I highly recommend this device.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have only used this a few times and it makes a terrible grinding noise every time (see video). It seems like it works best with smaller cans, but overall I would say this is a piece of garbage. Too bad I waited too long to get a refund.
