I absolutely loved this when I first received it, using it to cook loads of different vegetables in the microwave. However, the clips on the lid stopped fitting within a short time, so it was only possible to secure at most two sides out of the four before reducing to just one. I bought another but the same thing happened again. I can only conclude that the steamer is not dishwasher safe as it is supposed to be, either that or the heat of vegetables causes the container/lid to warp. Either way, once the lid stops fitting, it is no good and I did not buy a third.

I really like it when you buy a new thing and almost overnight you start to use it everyday. Which is what happened when I bought mine.So far (I’ve had it a few months) it seems very tough, and it keeps turning out lovely veggies. I’m not a fan of mushy overcooked vegetables you can get if you boil them in a pan (and then get distracted by almost anything) but with these go in the microwave for a set time means it’s much easier! And that’s pretty much all you have to do, apart from add some water. So easy!

Absolutely love this, Ive not used it yet as a steamer for vegetables but used it for so many things, it doesn’t warp, not too hot to handle when used, very quick & easy to clean, I might just invest in another one but different size although this one is an excellent size already, it has already become my best friend in the kitchen, you won’t be disappointed if you buy this!

Soooo easy to use, and just as easy to clean. I live alone, and don’t have a dishwasher, so it’s nice to not have to drag out pots and pans when I want some steamed veggies. You can even steam them from frozen. I’m really pleased with my purchase.

I actually didn’t buy this to use as a steamer (tho it’s great knowing I have it if I need it). I actually bought it to make air popped popcorn and it does the job brilliantly. An easy and cheap way to make a healthy snack!I agree with some other reviews that the catches can be difficult at times but it’s all about lining up the lid right and doing the clip opposite you first and rotating the box to do the next clip (if that makes sense?)Has been in the dishwasher (top shelf) several times and cleans well with no issues.
