PROS

1. Easy and convenient to use
2. The cord is long which is nice
3. Great temperature control
4. The hot plate is large enough for any normal-sized mug
5. An audible signal when you turn it on and off and lights to let you know how hot the base is

CONS

1. It may not work well for a tall mug
2. There is no auto-off feature and the color change on the indicator when switching from "medium" to "high" is very hard to distinguish
3. On/off buttons are too sensitive, you may accidentally turn it on without realizing it
4. No shutoff timer or sensor - to indicate when it's too hot
5. Some suggest that it barely gets lukewarm even at highest setting
6. The loud beep may irritate you when turning the unit on or changing settings if you don't like loud noise
