I read the instructions on this on how to get the can started, but even after many uses it still takes a few tries to get it in the right place to cut most of the time. But when you do get it positioned it cuts well enough, though the cuts are rough, so I worry how long the blade will last. For now it is adequate, just a bit more trouble than I thought it would be.

I’ve had it for about 2 months without any issues. It was very easy to put together, though I did freak out for a moment before realizing the cord was inside the bottom of it 😑 that was due to my own dinginess, though. All in all I definitely feel satisfied with it and feel like it was worth the cost. I was so fed up with fighting with the hand crank openers and after the 7th or 8th one got thrown across the kitchen into the garbage, I got on and ordered this.

Item as describe and reasonably priced. However, the lever on mine is very stubborn and often struggle to push it down and catch can smoothly. Either I am doing something wrong or something is off center/ bent? Gets the job done

I’ve used this 4 times on different cans and only successful on one can. The problem I’m having is that it will not bite into and start cutting. I’ve taken my time and tried to view where it starts but cannot figure why it will not bite into can. Im very unhappy with Black and Decker.
